Affiliate-disclosure

Last updated: July 12, 2026

FlowVerdict (flowverdict.com) is an independent review site focused on no-code automation tools for solopreneurs and small teams. Some links on this website are affiliate links. If you click one of these links and sign up for or purchase a product, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

This page explains how affiliate links work on FlowVerdict, how we maintain editorial independence, and what you should expect when reading our reviews and comparisons.

Affiliate Relationships

FlowVerdict participates in affiliate programs offered by software companies we review, including but not limited to automation platforms such as Make, Zapier, and n8n. We may also join other SaaS affiliate programs as we expand our coverage.

When you use an affiliate link on our site:

  • You pay the same price as going directly to the vendor (unless the vendor offers a special promo through affiliates).
  • We may receive a one-time or recurring commission if you become a paying customer.
  • We do not receive your payment details — all transactions happen on the vendor’s website.

Editorial Independence

Affiliate partnerships do not determine our ratings, rankings, or recommendations. Our reviews are based on hands-on testing where possible, publicly available pricing and documentation, and real-world use cases relevant to solo founders and small businesses.

We will:

  • Recommend tools we believe are genuinely useful, even if they have no affiliate program.
  • Point out weaknesses, limitations, and alternatives — including competitors.
  • Update articles when pricing, features, or our assessment changes.

We will not:

  • Give a product a positive review solely because it pays a commission.
  • Hide affiliate relationships on pages that contain affiliate links.
  • Claim we tested a product in depth when we have not.

What Counts as an Affiliate Link?

Affiliate links on FlowVerdict may appear as:

  • Text links within review or comparison articles (e.g., “Try Make free”).
  • Call-to-action buttons in article sidebars or conclusion sections.
  • Links in comparison tables pointing to vendor signup pages.

Links to official documentation, Wikipedia, government sites (such as the FTC), or tools with no affiliate relationship are included for reference only and do not generate commission for us.

FTC Disclosure (United States)

In accordance with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC) guidelines on endorsements and testimonials in advertising, we clearly disclose when content includes affiliate links. Material connections between FlowVerdict and the products we recommend are stated on this page and in individual articles where affiliate links appear.

For more information, see the FTC’s guide: Disclosures 101 for Social Media Influencers.

European Readers (EU/UK)

If you are reading from the European Union or United Kingdom, please note that some outbound links may use tracking parameters for affiliate attribution. See the Privacy section on our About page for how we handle data. Where required, we use cookie consent tools to comply with applicable privacy regulations.

How We Review Products

Our review process typically includes:

  1. Account setup — We register for free or trial plans when available.
  2. Hands-on testing — We build sample workflows, test integrations, and evaluate the user interface.
  3. Pricing analysis — We compare plans, usage limits (credits, tasks, operations), and real-world cost at typical solo-business volume.
  4. Competitive context — We compare each tool against relevant alternatives.
  5. Ongoing updates — We revise articles when vendors change pricing or major features.

Not every tool receives the same depth of testing. When a review is based primarily on documentation and community feedback rather than extended hands-on use, we say so in the article.

Sponsored Content

From time to time, we may publish sponsored content or work with brands on custom projects. Any post that is paid for or written at a partner’s request will be clearly labeled as Sponsored or Advertisement at the top of the article. Sponsored content is separate from our standard affiliate-linked reviews.
